When the world shut down in 2020, I was living alone. There was very little to distinguish one day to the next, and I desperately needed to ground myself in some sort of daily practice. I cracked open a barely-used tarot deck and for 78 straight days, I studied and journaled about each card, one by one.
For months I learned the most popular interpretations — and then unlearned some of the more binary, heteronormative, inflexible frameworks. Friends were craving outlets for reflection and connection, so I began offering New Year Readings in January and summer check-ins in July. The consistent feedback was that my So in 2026, I founded Here and Now Tarot.
My philosophy is that tarot readings should not feel like a secret process I’m gatekeeping from you.
During a reading, I guide you through:
The individual cards showing up
The narrative the cards tell as a spread
And my thought process for my interpretations.
I also offer a Customized Reading Report add-on for virtual clients who crave more insight. It includes resources curated for your spread, such as podcast episodes, rituals, and journal prompts from other reader and tarot educators (with citations). Think of it as a holistic toolbox for processing (and applying) your reading.
As a Virgo, my birth card is the Hermit 🕯️

My Influences
My tarot philosophy integrates several pillars from Lindsay Mack’s Soul Tarot, such as:
“There are no ‘bad’ or ‘good’ cards”
“The present moment is all there is”
“Each card that we pull is an invitation”
and “No Tarot card requires an external element to exist”
Since 2020, I've learned about these pillars from Lindsay through an in-person retreat and countless virtual workshops. I also typically read with the Soul Tarot deck (including in photos on this site). My readings and spread narratives are still based on my own intuitive interpretations, and will not 100% align with the Soul Tarot guidebook. So metaphorically speaking: A reading with me is a bouquet of flowers from my personal garden, which has been fertilized with Soul Tarot.
